In 2023, I was contacted by Haunted Table Games who commissioned me to create an illustrated map for their TTRPG, Triangle Academy. Prior to this project, I had only created one other illustrated map for The University of Pittsburgh, which was an illustrated version of the campus's real life layout. For this project, I needed to create imaginary geography and infrastructure from scratch, which is a skill in of itself.

I started with 2D renderings of features my clients requested, such as the Triangle Agency HQ, a small town, and a motel. The initial concepts for these designs were done in my sketchbook with pencil and ink.

I then transferred my work to Procreate on the iPad Pro, and created an isometric map layout using only basic shapes. From there, I referenced my initial concept art, and built a complete digital sketch. Once the sketch was approved, I moved forward with inking and coloring to complete the final product.
